In 2008, Barry Bland, a photographer, had an assignment to photograph Rishi the orangutan at the The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species in Miami, Florida. He took his two year old daughter Emily for the ride. What he didn’t expect was for the two youngsters to instantly become best friends. Two years later, Emily and Rishi were reunited.
